Olive These Foods began in 2020, born from our love of food and years of experience growing and producing specialty foods at Lone Star Olive Ranch.

We’re Chef Cathy and Christine—partners in business, and in a whole lot of adventure.

Our journey started with farming. From cattle to olive trees, we learned what it takes to build something from the ground up: hard work, patience, creativity, and the courage to start over.

We planted and grew 14,000 olive trees in East Texas, built a business around them, and weathered some incredible challenges—including Winter Storm Uri in 2021, which destroyed nearly our entire orchard.

We rebuilt.

We adapted.

We kept moving forward.

CLOSING ONE CHAPTER. OPENING ANOTHER.

After years of building Lone Star Olive Ranch, we eventually made the difficult decision to close and consolidate the ranch.

It was the end of something we had poured our hearts into for years.

But it wasn't the end of us.

We lost the ranch. We didn't lose ourselves.

We took everything we had learned with us—our recipes, our experience, our passion for great food, and our belief that the best things are meant to be shared.

And we started another chapter.

Olive These Foods.

Today, we create specialty foods inspired by the flavors we love—from olive oils and stuffed olives to seasonings, preserves, pickled specialties, and more.

We’ve been knocked down before.

We know how to rebuild.

And WE’RE STILL HERE.
